PhD awarded to Pratisha Padmasri Deka by Cotton University on 31st May, 2023 under the supervision of Dr Phunu Das Sarma on the topic, "Metacognition, Study Habits and Academic Achievement among the undergraduate students of Kamrup (M) District, Assam"

i)    Post-graduate students of education department have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET), result declared in the month of February, 2022. The following students have cleared NET examination- Ranjita Barman, Sagarika Saha, Saniwara Parvin, Punam Roy, Anupriya Saikia, Prathana Sonowal, Jintu Thakuriya and Mousumi Bharali.
ii)    The magazine ‘Dakowal’ led by the students of UG 3rd Semester, Department of Education along with the students of different departments of Cotton University and colleges of Assam has made its place in ‘India Book of records’ and ‘Asia book of Records’.
iii)    Nishant Malla Buzarbaruah, student of UG 3rd semester have enrolled his name in the International Firebox Book of World Record for the painting done in a coconut shell of 17 cm height. He is honoured with the title ‘Best Portrait Artist’.
He is also honoured with the title ‘Popular Artist of the Year 2022’ from the US Art Gallery.
iv)    Abhijit Tamuly, student of UG 3rd semester is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for embroidering Assamese poet names on a traditional Phulam Gamusa by Asia Book of Records.
He also have begged the India Book of Record as Maximum Assamese Poet Names Embroidered on a Traditional Phulam Gamusa as confirmed on January 22, 2022.
